Founder of Society of Jesus Mary Joseph

St. Joseph's English Medium High School is run by the sisters of the Society Jesus Mary Joseph, a registered Society, under the Charitable Societies Registration Act. The Society was founded in the year 1822 in Holland by Rev. Fr. Mathias Wolf and established in India in the year 1904.

History

The powerful hand of god was active when the seed was sown for St. Joseph's English Medium School in Nellore town by Rev. Sr. Theresienne, JMJ, A Dutch missionary. At the request of the people of this locality. This school was established in 1971. St. Joseph's School is catholic minority institution but open to all communities. St.Joseph's school accorded permanent recognition in the proceedings L.Dis.No.2884/D2-4/88 Dt. 04-11-1988.

St.Joseph's English Medium High School caters education to all from play school to Class 8.
